10. Barbara Colby

Barbara Colby was an American actress who died at the age of 36 in Venice, Los Angeles, California, United States. On July 24, 1975, Colby and acting colleague James Kiernan were walking to their car after the acting class in Venice, Los Angeles, California, when they were shot inside a parking area. Colby died instantly and Kiernan later succumbed to injuries after narrating the event to police. According to Kiernan, there were two men who shot them without warning, reason or provocation. Police found that there were no attempts to rob the pair. The police were unable to identify or arrest these mysterious men. As per the conclusion drawn by police it was a random drive-by shooting.

9. Brian ‘Spinner’ Spencer

A popular ice hockey player, Brian Spencer nicknamed as ‘spinner’ died under mysterious circumstances during a shootout when attempting a robbery. Brian Spencer played for NHL teams from 1969 to 1979. He was acquitted of murdering a restaurant owner. At the age of 39, Spencer was shot in Cook’s truck, who was at that time one of Spencer’s companion. This incident was told by Cook to police. According to police sources, there are many questions regarding Cook’s account. However, police Capt. Jerry Poreba said that Cook is not a suspect and is cooperating with police and detectives to solve the case.

8. Nancy Spungen

Nancy Spungen was the figure of 1970s punk rock music. Infamously, she was also the girlfriend of bassist Sid Vicious. Nancy Spungen died on October 12, 1978 with a stab wound on her abdomen. Vicious reportedly owned the knife that made the wound. At the time of her alleged murder, she was staying with Sid Vicious. Their relationship involved domestic violence and ended violently. Sid was immediately arrested and came out on bail after he pleaded not guilty of the crime. After four months of Nancy’s death, Sid died of heroin overdose.

Jack Nance was an American actor of stage and screen who on December 30, 1996 died under mysterious circumstances. On December 29, 1996 he had his lunch with his friends Leo Bulgarini and Catherine Case. Nance narrated them about the brawl he had in front of a donuts shop where two Hispanic men had attacked him. He had a “crescent shaped” bruise under his eye. He later complained of a headache and went home. The next day he was found dead on the bathroom floor. The autopsy report states that subdural hematoma due to blunt-force trauma caused his death. The report also revealed that actor’s blood alcohol level was 0.24% at the time of his death. A murder investigation had no evidence to backup the story told by Nance to his friends. To this day, his death remains a mystery.

Bobby Fuller was a famous rock singer, songwriter, and guitarist who reached fame after “Love’s Made a Fool of You” and his cover of “I Fought the Law”.
