Dave Lizewski is an ordinary New York high-school student and is the child of James Lizewski, who is a loving father and takes his son’s interest to comic books via the internet. When Dave saves a man from a beating, a passer-by records the incidents and uploads it on YouTube, making Dave a sensation on the internet and is dubbed by the name “Kick-Ass“.

The story revolves around a dystopian and post-apocalyptic near-future history version of the United Kingdom in the 1990s, which is preceded by a nuclear war in the 1980s leaving the world in destruction. To understand V for Vendetta better, you have to first understand the times the U.K’s Conservative government system of the 1980s, which was throttling the freedom and individuality of its people. V for Vendetta is a powerful story by Alan Moore from the period of England’s Cold War mentality leaving the people’s future in dark. A must read classic comics edition.
